The indoor sports competitions consisting of carrom, chess and table tennis were conducted as a part of the indoor competitions. This was later followed by an outdoor house-wise Cricket competition on 13th October,2017 for kids, Koota women and men.
The “Marala Mallige Day” observed with the theme of “Mojina Mela” was conducted on the 5th of May 2017 which was combined with the indoor sports with a variety of indoor games and fun-filled competitions. A hearty fare-well was conducted for the ex-president Shri. Sudhir Shenoy and his family, during the month of April. All the members appreciated the services of the couple in the activities of the Koota during their long stay in Kuwait.
The first event of the year was the Dasotsava, a spiritually oriented musical performance combined with the theme based talents show by the kids of Koota. The event was held on the 24th February at Carmel School, Khaitan.
