Kuwait Kannada Koota since it’s inception, when it started with few families, gathering together on prominent Karnataka festivals. The intent was to have our coming generations get a taste of our rich culture, heritage and tradition while growing up away from home. I have seen this small association of few Kannada speaking people grow to be one of the leading associations in Kuwait with great camaraderie amongst many Kannada speaking families as its members.

In its existence of 35 years, many of our members have relocated to our homeland ‘Karnataka’. These members having enjoyed their stay in Kuwait and association with KKK, expressed their strong desire to have an association with KKK in Karnataka, which led to the birth of

Kuwait Kannada Koota welfare association (KKKWA).

It is our aim to see KKK and KKKWA work in tandem. Our vision of KKKWA is to see that all our members past and present, irrespective of their locations are in touch, exchange pleasantries and congregate as often as possible, interacting and joining hands on various programs, we embark on. In addition to this we will also see how we can better help the under privileged through contribution from members and help from generous sponsors.
